Testimonials

Cleaire products are successfully operating in a variety of applications. These testimonials are intended to provide a sampling of common applications and their respective company/agency:

Elk Grove Unified School District Elk Grove has a long history in adopting emission control technology in their bus fleet, including an electric bus demonstration, 50 compressed natural gas buses and most recently the installation of 48 Cleaire Horizons which represents their entire full size diesel bus fleet. These Horizon installations were fully funded through a grant from the California Air Resources Board. Gary Dodson, Fleet Supervisor for the school district said, "I've been very pleased with the installation and performance of the Horizon units. Smoke has been eliminated from the exhaust." Elk Grove supports these systems with 10 on-site regeneration plugs.

Sacramento County
Sacramento County owns a large municipal fleet operating a wide variety of equipment in diverse operations ranging from neighborhood refuse collection to asphalt patch trucks to high pressure sewer vacuum trucks. The County actively contributes to local and regional air quality efforts evaluating each application for the appropriate emission control strategy.

For example, the entire neighborhood refuse collection fleet uses liquid natural gas technology, while diesel patch trucks and dump trucks use Cleaire's Horizon or Longview active particulate filters. In many cases, the County has taken advantage of local emission reduction incentive programs for the equipment installed on their trucks.

Mr. Collins had the following comments about Cleaire, "The product line-up has been an effective way to clean up our existing in-use diesel fleet. In particular, the Longview filter offers additional NOx reductions, which are not available with many other products on the market. In addition, local emission reduction incentive programs have paid for a portion of the equipment costs that provide NOx reductions in our region. Cummins West, the local dealer for Cleaire products and their staff have proven to be knowledgeable, interested, and very helpful with installation and servicing of Cleaire equipment."
