Allmetal® - Temporary Suspension
Please be advised that, pursuant to the California Air Resources Board’s letter 11-661-997, Cleaire is suspending sales and installations of the above-referenced product effective immediately and until this suspension is rescinded by CARB. We are working diligently to address and to take all steps pursuant to CARB's letter. We will update this page when further information is available. Cleaire is contacting dealers who have purchased these systems with further information, and customers with Allmetal systems already installed will be contacted by their dealer.
Cleaire's agreement to take the steps outlined in CARB’s letter is not an agreement that these products do not comply with the conditions and requirements of the applicable CARB Executive Orders and Verification letters, nor an agreement that there was any defect in these products. Cleaire remains confident that these products can be safely deployed to continue to benefit California's air quality goals. Cleaire intends to respond appropriately to CARB’s directives as always, and to provide the same high level of quality products and product support to its dealers in support of their customers.
We understand that this action may impact our dealers and their customers, and we apologize for this inconvenience. Addressing this issue as swiftly as possible is Cleaire's top priority.
Cleaire dealers are contacting owners of Allmetal systems regarding removal procedures set out in Cleaire's PPLs and agreed to by CARB. If you have questions about your Allmetal system contact your Cleaire dealer or call Cleaire at 800-308-2111.
